Our next Women’s Kite Camp is happening from March 13-15 in La Ventana, Baja California Sur, Mexico!
Elevation’s women’s camps are perfect for those looking to try kiteboarding, connect with other female kiteboarders, or take their skills to the next level. With experienced instructors, women-specific gear, and a fun, supportive environment, this camp is designed to help participants become safe, independent, and confident kiteboarders. Over the course of three days, attendees will cover essential skills such as safety procedures, launching and landing, kite control, self-rescue, body dragging, and board riding, with opportunities to advance beyond the beginner level.
The group setting fosters a non-intimidating and confidence-boosting atmosphere, ensuring a positive learning experience. Each day runs from 10:30 AM to around 4 or 5 PM, and participants are asked to bring a lunch, water, and a wetsuit (though wetsuits are available if needed). The warm waters of La Ventana make for ideal conditions, but a 4/3mm wetsuit and booties are recommended.
Lessons are watercraft-assisted, with instructors guiding students directly on the water, and all kiteboarding equipment, including the latest Duotone kites and boards, is provided. To top off each day, we host a group happy hour at Baja Joe’s Bar from 4:20 to 5:20 PM.
