Festival MaQueCho 2025

The Machaca, Cheese, and Chorizo ​​Festival, also known as MaQueCho, is about to kick off its fourth edition in San Antonio, Baja California Sur.

This festival is a local gastronomic event that brings together producers, artisans, and visitors to savor the best of Baja California Sur’s culinary traditions.

It will take place on Sunday, December 7th, in the main square of San Antonio. According to the authorities, activities will begin around 8:00 a.m., allowing attendees to enjoy a full day of the festival.

MaQueCho is an economic engine that encourages the community to buy local and discover local products. In previous editions, dozens of producers from Baja California Sur have participated, highlighting the value of machaca, cheese, and chorizo.

The festival also includes competitions to award the best cheese, chorizo, and machaca, further promoting the quality of the producers.

It is also a cultural hub, combining culinary demonstrations with music, local art, and activities for young people.
