Baja Birding Club Fourth Outing

Baja Birding Club:  Our next outing will be to the Presa de Bueno Mujer dam off the La Paz Highway.  I have managed a much better deal for the gate opening, i.e. 500 pesos TOTAL for all of us!    The dam reservoir is an interesting birding spot because, like Forest Gump’s proverbial box of chocolates, “you never know what you’re gonna get”.    There are certainly a fair number of waterbird species like black-crowned night-herons, egrets, and waterfowl.   It is also one of the few places where you can get canyon wrens and black phoebes.   If interested, meet me outside the gate of the Marlin Azul restaurant on the left just past Baja Joe’s at 0730, Sunday, March 10.  We can arrange car-pooling.  We should be back late morning.   If you have questions, please just reply to me and not to all.   My phone number is 686-338-9135.   Cheers.
