Ecstatic Dance- Free form dance, all ages, no experience necessary – Casa Tara

Ecstatic dance is a Freeform movement journey, held in a safe & sacred container & facilitated by a professional DJ.
Come start your day dancing! Get your exercise, learn to be comfortable dancing anywhere, anytime, sober, like you are a kid or again. The first 30 minutes will be for arrival. Some gentle music will be playing. Arrive, stretch, meditate, do yoga.
At 10am the doors will close. We will then have a brief opening circle to introduce everyone to the guidelines for the dance. Then the dancing starts! The dance will be a wave of sound where we go from a stillness then rhythmic beginning, up into chaos, on to an inspiring groove, and then back down into stillness. Afterwards we will then have a brief closing circle for sharing of names and community announcements.
